Trespassing
Authorization for Police Action
Property owners can authorize the Santa Rosa Police Department to take action regarding trespassing violations (Penal Code Section 602(k) and 602(o)).
This includes arresting individuals who enter or refuse to leave private property without permission.
The authorization letter is valid for twelve months and must be kept current by the property owner or agent.
